  • We Fired Our Shine with Melissa Ambrosini - Mastering Your Mean Girl Author

    Posted by

You know that voice inside you that often will tell you that you aren't good enough or can be just plain nasty! We all have this mean girl inside us and we know how this negative self-talk can affect how you operate and present yourself to the world each day. So you (and us) can realise our potential, we fired our shine with Melissa Ambrosini. We hope you enjoy it!

Did you ever want to do anything other than what you’re doing now?

Before I was writing books, speaking all over the world and creating life changing online products and programs to help women unlock their full potential and live their dream life I wanted to be a professional dancer and actress and I did that, which was loads of fun. I danced at the Moulin Rouge in Paris and worked on top TV shows like Home & Away and Packed To The Rafters which I loved and I am so glad I got to experience.

Who or what is your inspiration?

My husband always inspires me — his commitment to mindfulness, his giant heart, his generosity of spirit, the way he parents, the way he creates art and does business... He blows my mind every day. I’m also constantly inspired by my soul-sisters — the way they stand up for what they believe in, live their truth, and lovingly master their inner Mean Girls inspires me so much.

What is the most fulfilling aspect of your life?

I feel mostly fulfilled when I am being of service to others. Whether that’s to my tribe, friends, family, stepson, husband or a complete stranger. When I am being of service to others I feel the most fulfilled.

What life advice do you have for those who are a little lost on their journey?

I have a few pieces of advice if that’s ok:

    1. Remind yourself you are not broken. You are perfect just as you are.
    2. Master your inner Mean Girl.
    3. Keep going sista. Even when you don’t want to, pick yourself up and keep moving forward.

For those who don’t know you personally, you’re a very kind and compassionate soul. Have you always been that way or is this something you’ve learned through Mastering Your Mean Girl?

It has always been innate within me as both my parents are very loving, generous, kind and compassionate people so I got it from them, however over the years it’s something I try to really embody even more every day.

If you had a superpower, what would it be and why?

I would love to be able to teleport myself. I love travel, and especially Europe, and would love to be able to teleport myself there in a second. How cool would that be!
